I was in Paris in Sept. The Rue des Rossiers (4th arrondisement), the main street of the Jewish ghetto has several kosher restaurants (btw, Goldenberg's is NOT kosher, but kosher style), selling both the ubiquitous felafel and French/North African/Jewish cuisine. Chabad is located right across the street from Goldenberg's and would be a good place to find out about kosher restaurants in Paris. Since there are more kosher restaurants in Paris than in NYC, the religious definitely need not go hungry. The Web has a list of Paris kosher restaurants (search for Jewish Paris).
